Report Methodology

Last updated: August 2026

How InspectRank inspects a website and calculates its scores.

Overview

Each report reviews the publicly accessible pages of the website you submit and organizes findings into clear priorities. Scores are calculated using a consistent, transparent formula so results are comparable over time.

What we inspect

InspectRank reviews search essentials (titles, descriptions, headings), website structure, mobile and performance behavior, local business signals, trust and clarity, and AI readiness.

Scoring

The overall score is a weighted combination of five categories. Each category is scored from 0 to 100.

  • On-page SEO — 25%
  • Technical health — 25%
  • Performance — 20%
  • Local visibility — 15%
  • AI search readiness — 15%

Data sources

Findings are based on publicly accessible website content and standard performance signals. InspectRank does not access private or password-protected areas.

Limitations

Scores reflect the state of the website at the time of the scan. Website conditions change, and results may vary between scans. Scores are informational and do not guarantee any search, traffic, or AI outcomes.

Updates

We may refine checks and weights over time to keep reports useful. Significant changes will be noted in updated reports.
